END
ENCOPRESIS AND ABOLISH BEDWETTING NOW!
There
are no practical, “How to” manuals for treating enuresis
(bladder incontinence) or encopresis (fecal incontinence) available
in bookstores or libraries. Parents, physicians, and psychologists alike
find themselves in a kind of “twilight zone” between medicine
and behavioral science on how best to treat enuresis or encopresis.
The Clean Kid Manual (CKM) for encopresis is absolutely my “best
seller” because of the severe conflict and distress encopresis
causes for all concerned. The Clean Kid Protocol for encopresis has
come to be the major “go to” treatment when the standard
approaches of stool softeners, diet, and constant sitting demands fail.
Soiling often stops in the first week of treating encopresis. This encourages
continuing treatment for however long it may take. The Dry Bed Manual
for enuresis distills my own research which helped to establish the
validity of the bedwetting alarm. It offers practical step by step instructions
with special diaries to evaluate progress. These manuals are available
only through this website.
I believe that the emotional issues and conflicts accompanying enuresis
and encopresis are more often a consequence of these disorders than
they are a cause. Treat the causes and many of the emotional issues
disappear and you will rediscover your true child! If you are not satisfied
within 120-days you may return a manual for a refund of the cost of
the manual alone.
This website contains rich and extensive background and details about
encopresis which you could spend hours reading, however, it may be overwhelming.
We suggest that you click on the Megacolon, the Clean Kid (Encopresis)
Manual, User Comments, the Program Highlights, and, finally, the About
the Doctor tabs above to be sufficiently informed for ordering our manuals.
Click on the store button above or the footer below to order. For parents
not inclined toward the soiling solutions protocol go to www.encopresis.com
for a possible center near you using the traditional pediatric protocols.
Also, www.encopresis.org/forums
could be a source of support for you with other parents pursuing more
traditional approaches. Finally, if you do purchase our Clean Kid Manual,
you will be, on request, added to the exclusive CKM Parents Forum where
everyone can compare notes and help one another out using the SS protocol.
This forum is very active, extremely helpful, and very encouraging!
You can see a sample of some exchanges on the CKM forum by clicking
on the "User Comments" button above. |
See the following letter which you can take to your child's doctor.
We would like your physician to be informed about your determination
to proceed with our treatment protocol, especially for encopresis, and
keep him/her in an oversight role when that appears to be possible.
Many physicians will support you even if it is only to report back at
some later date and of course he/she would remain available in case
of a rare emergency.
Dear
Doctor:
The
parent(s) of your patient with encopresis have reached such a point
of frustration that they have sought to follow a more aggressive course
of treatment following the detailed instructions and rationales that
are found in the Clean Kid Manual III (CKM-III). The basic outline of
the treatment may be seen in the Visual Aid provided in the manual which
you are free to copy for your records and assistance in treatment. The
parents also have special access to an exclusive email forum with other
parents who are utilizing the CKM-III. You may have access to this same
forum which I call my “clinical lab” for you to view how
the parents are responding to the manual and one another. You and they
can have the same advantage of following a standardized protocol that
has been written down in considerable and persuasive detail. The CKM-III
can be purchased by you at a considerable discount. You, they, and other
physicians can all truly be on the same page.
I
also own encopresis.com where I am listing medical centers and groups
specializing in the treatment of encopresis for free. You should submit
basic information about your center that can be listed there—go
to that website for details. I also own encopresis.org, enuresis.org,
and bedwetting.org which feature “open” patient/parent forums.
I recommend you survey those sites to get some sense of the frustration
and lack of direction being experienced by way too many suffering families
who have not responded to standard treatment regimens. You may also
join the CKMPros email forum with the purchase of one or more manuals.
Please
feel free to contact me at any time for consultations (professional
courtesy) on your patient and any questions or concerns that you may
have. I do travel a fair amount so email is best. My home page toward
the bottom will note special tours or travel plans and phone numbers
when out of country.
Sincerely,
Robert
